Stuart Family | An In-Home Breakfast Session

When I moved to Pinehurst, family photography wasn’t my original plan. I had done my fair share of family sessions in Vicenza, and although the majority of those experiences were Phenomenal, there were a handful that were a bit difficult and those sessions… well lets just say they left me a bit frazzled.

SO what did I do? I took a break from family sessions for a little bit.

Cue to last month. I moved to Ft Bragg, where I reconnected with one of my very First sessions ever, and she asked me to take family photos of her and her kids. And let me tell you,

We started the morning making breakfast with the kiddos, played on their trampoline, walked through the woods with their fur babies, and ended with snuggles on the couch. It was just the shoot I needed to re-energize my passion for lifestyle family photography.

So if you’re in Southern Pines or Pinehurst, or any of the surrounding areas and you’re looking for a family photographer, holla at ya girl because I’m Back!

Zacharahia & Courtney | A Windswept Beach Engagement

This winter beach shoot was everything. It was chilly and cozy and dreamy and charming and playful and everything you could possibly want in a couples photos hoot. I’ll be honest, in the summer, I am NOT normally a beach girl ( hi, i’m very pale and I burn. k thnx bai). SO, when I brought up the idea of going to the beach on a VERY chilly January afternoon, and Zack & Courtney were down, I was Pumped and off to Wilmington we went.

ALSO um hullo they’re models and its actually dumb how good looking and cute they are together.

I’ve known Zack for about two years now and to see him so unbelievably happy and in love with Courtney brings so much joy to my life. She’s a sweet baby angel, they are undeniably perfect for each other, and I can’t wait to keep taking their photos throughout their adventures.

Kait & Shane | First Looks at The Siren

This one is super special to my heart.

Kait Nako has been my best friend since Grade 8, and when she asked me to be a bridesmaid, I don’t think i could have said “YES” any faster. Then, when she asked me to take the “getting read/first look” photos, my heart shot through the roof! This was the perfect opportunity to dip my toes into wedding territory and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The Siren Hotel was an amazing place to get ready, the bridal party was so fun, and duh the Bride & Groom were the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen.

I’m so lucky to have gotten this opportunity and I hope the love from this day shines through in these images.
